Moretto was established in Massanzago (Padua), Italy, in 1980 by Renato Moretto and is engaged in the design, engineering and manufacture of plastics automation for the plastics manufacturing industry. Moretto offers nine unique product families including solutions for: feeding & conveying, dehumidification, granulation, dosing, storage, temperature control, process cooling, supervision, and integrated systems. Today 435 people form the core of the Moretto global family with locations in Italy, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Russia, Brazil, India and the USA. These employees compliment the more than 71,000 sqm of office and manufacturing space in the four factories and eight office locations comprising the Moretto Group.
Each year Moretto sells more than 60,000 machines to customers in 70 countries, each complimented with local sales and service support through Moretto’s global network of sales partners. To cater to a wide range of customer needs, Moretto offers both a range of Blue and Sky branded products. The range of Blue products consists of automation dedicated to the most competitive sectors, where quick delivery speed and easy setup are required. The SKY line represents the expression of the most advanced technologies available in the plastics processing industry today and are engineered to meet the needs of the most demanding customers.
As a pioneering leader in the plastics industry, Moretto holds more 168 patents and continues to reinvest, on average, 6% of annual turnover toward research & development activities.
