Tobias Baur, Managing Director Sales and After Sales, inspired the audience with his keynote speech "arburgSOLUTIONworld - added values for a robust production". He showed how ARBURG develops sustainable solutions together with its customers and meets market requirements with innovation, expertise and competence. In the arburgSOLUTIONworld exhibition area, visitors were given practical insights into how they can increase efficiency and reduce costs with the right tools.

Great interest in new products

The focus was particularly on the latest ARBURG products: The ALLROUNDER 720 E GOLDEN ELECTRIC and the MULTILIFT SELECT 4 with a payload capacity of four kilograms. The latter closes the gap between the INTEGRALPICKER and larger linear robotic systems - a highlight for many visitors.

Digitalisation and sustainability

The experts impressively demonstrated how digital networking with the ARBURG host computer system ALS and the arburgXworld customer portal increases efficiency, reduces costs and counteracts the shortage of skilled labour. Intelligent assistance functions in the GESTICA control system optimised energy consumption, part quality and ease of operation. The "ask ARBURG" customer portal app, which provides bundled injection moulding knowledge, was particularly well received. A great deal of attention was also paid to sustainable materials: from paper fibre patience games and pen holders with eggshell filler to reusable lids made from marine plastic. Other highlights included the two-component injection moulding of sunglasses, efficient cube technology and a 256-cavity LSR mould.

Automation and turnkey

The Automation and Turnkey exhibition area impressed visitors with a wide range of products - from cost-effective standard solutions to high-end systems. A production cell with integrated MULTILIFT and mobile COBOT, which produced and picked trays of fries, was particularly impressive. Visitors were also able to test the simple programming of six-axis robots for themselves. Automated cube technology and practical examples from customers emphasised ARBURG's more than 30 years of turnkey expertise.
